Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actress best recognized for her role as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired from 2015 until current. Her previous role as a Lebanese American teenager Jasira who is undergoing a series of personal struggles against the backdrop of the U.S. military conflict in Iraq was in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. The film was later named one of the 10 actors in Variety's list of Actors to Watch in 2007. She also played a powerful part in the 2009 crime drama Crossing Over. For this, she received a nomination in the Independent Spirit Award under the category of the Best Female Leading. She has also acted in movies like The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and she has appeared in a variety of guest roles on television apart from acting as the co-lead for Lucky 7.
